Computer does not recognize my westell modem thru usb

I had spyware removed from my computer. The hard drive was cleaned and I need to reintall all programs. the computer does not recognize the westell modem thru the USB port. Do I need to reinstall the drivers for the modem?

By the way the model number should start with E90 or F90 and is located on the bottom of the modem.

What is your operating system (XP, Vista, 98). And can you give me the model number of the modem.

yes.. you may do that and also, please make sure that the drivers of the USB ports on your computers are installed..
