Question about Acer PC Desktops

I bought an Acer Aspire M3100 desktop computer last June & yesterday, the Acer mouse freezes up periodically & I have to shut down my computer & then turn it back on for the mouse to work properly again. Help!! Thanks,

I think the problem is the memory. If you know how to burn an .iso file, the best test is memtest86+. The next link is to select the version to download the memory test. You can make a bootable CD with the .zip (for windows), or a floppy versionfor windows is also available.

If you need a tool to make a bootable CD, ISO recorder is a very nice utility (plus it is free).

PC doesn't work well after installing Windows VistaService Pack 1


I have no idea what is going wrong but trying updating to Service Pack 2. I found on my computer it runs alot smoother and supports all programs so that might be the solution your looking for.

Acer Aspire L100 overheating


You could try a new cpu fan and heatsink. They are normally inexpensive. if this does not work make sure all the case fans are working and check to see if your ram is overheating
