Question about Traulsen 24.2 cu. ft. / 685 liter Commercial Freezer G12010
I recently purchased a house and the seller said he would leave his Traulsen Commercial Freezer in the garage if I wanted it...he told me that it works fine, it just needs to be recharged. I don't really know what that means or who to call to service the freezer. I live in Indianapolis, IN.
The refrigerant level is low. The only thing is that the unit may not have a low charge. There can be several things that cause the unit not to refrigerate properly. It could have weak valves in the compressor or even a bad TXV(thermostatic expansion valve). Have you had this box repaired yet.? I see that this is an old post.

Hello, The term recharging means it will need more refrigerant added. Refrigerant shouldn't just dissappear, it may have a leak. You should check in your local area phone book and call a repair company for a diagnosis.
