Playing on your computer? Try double clicking the speaker icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and maximizing the Wave and Volume Control.

GuruI beleive that you may need to reinstall the drive and update the drivers,
if youve got XP OS then you will need SP2 updates also.

MasterIf you recorded the music yourself then it might be that you did not bring up the levels high enough in the mastering. To find out, play a commerical CD and if it is loud, your mastering is a problem. You absolutly do not have a cable conection problem. That is so incorrect. You might also not have your volume up either the master or the headphone, or you just do not have it hooked up correctly in the first place. Your SCSI goes direct to your CD burner, if it had a connection problem it would not see the drive and has nothing to do with low volume.

1. Check all cable connections to make sure they're secure.
2. Replace the cable connecting the CD unit to your receiver.
3. Clean the contacts on the player and receiver with electronics-grade contact cleaner.
