CLEAR JAM, NOISE WHEN PRINTING

HI, MY PRINTER HAS CLEAR JAM LIGHT ON, AND MAKES NOISE PLEASE HELP.

The same thing happened to me once. Try looking near the cartridges and where you input the paper, there might be an item stuck which makes it hard to print or load the paper. When that happened to me, i noticed that there was a pencil stuck in mine. I ended taking it all apart in the end, but that is only because someone forced it in there. In the end, it worked!

If that doesn't solve the problem, try contacting the manufacturer.

Hi,

Please clear out the paper jam by removing the tray and removing any pieces of paper stuck in the printer. You can also open up the back of the printer and remove paper as well. Then, try to print on both-sides again. If your printer has multiple trays, try switching the source tray prior to printing.

When printing pages it makes a horrible noise and has quit printing. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the part where you clear paper jams from. I can't remove the part to try to fix it. Any suggestions?

I would check the plastic gears on the paper transport rollers. These gears can break when a paper jam suddenly stops the rollers.

Hi
Check through the paper path for any obstructions and manually remove them.
Check the cartridges and make sure nothing's trapped here [stuck papers].
Ensure there's no dry or damaged cartridges
Clear any print queues.
Disconnect the printer from power and from the PC.
Connect again after a while.
Try printing now.

Give this a try: Disconnect all the cables to the printer. Hold it upside down and shake it really hard for 30 seconds. This should clear anything stuck inside the printer.

Printer wont load paper. there is a rattling noise and upon restarting it says Doc. feeder Jam

Follow these instructions to clear the jam and replace the jam clearance component.

Carrier jam on dell 924 printer??

I was able to fix this issue on my all-in-one 944 printer. What happened was that one of the ink cartridge lids had popped open. The hard part was that the carrier was stuck on the far left side, and I wasn't able to pull it over for easer access. However, I was able to fit a finger in and push the cartridge back down. Then when I turned the printer back on the error went away.
