We have the same problem, The freezer has the cooling element and is fan assisted which blows cold air into the freezer compartment. This fan should also feed cold air up into the fridge compartment but is not. the fan is working ok but still no chilled air into the fridge compartment? Steve

SOURCE: Fagor refrigerator (3FCA-68NFX): no cold air in the refrigerator

u may have a duct that goes from the freezer to the fridge that is closed off or u may have a stopped up freon line and if thats the case ur probably going to have to call a tech but check the duct first if u have one in that particular fridge

Why does my Frigidaire Fridge always make a high pitched noise? I think it's about 10 years old maybe 5.... Does it need freon or service?

Motors make noise. You have 4. The evaporator motor in the freezer compartment, the condenser fan motor on the bottom back of the machine, a timer motor located in the fresh food compartment, next to the thermostat, and lastly the compressor itself, located in the bottom rear of the machine. You'll have to determine which area the noise is coming from.
However, I have seen many Frigidaire machines where the problem is in the compressor itself.
If you feel that is the problem, you can call a qualified Frigidaire service tech to verify that. If that's it, your looking at a very pricey repair. Lets hope it's one of the others.

Fridge not cooling, freezer is fine, says 2 degress is warm, its not that old about 3 years

Hello. These can freeze up inside where you cannot see it. Your unit may actually need defrosted or the defrost heater element could be out. These can freeze up inside where you cannot see it. Please try the following:

Empty the unit out and unplug it overnight, leaving open with a pan to collect any water runoff if possible. Ice may melt from inside the freezer panels (ice only visible if panels inside freezer pulled off too see coils).

Pull your fridge out from wall and vacuum off any dust-bunnies or clogging dust from the back of the fridge (not to say house is dirty, this happens to fridges eventually). Just make sure air can fully flow through any fridge cover vents. Try to run the fridge normally again.

If none of this helps and it acts up again the defroster bulb is probably out inside the freezer down below the coils. This is normal as they have to be replaced eventually. Since yours is partly working it may just need a normal defrost and vacuuming as shown above.

Freezer not working but fridge is

You said,
I opened my freezer today and everything was defrosting. The fridge is working fine. I thought maybe did not shut properly so made sure it was closed and 8 hours later it is still not freezing. The fan is working but the air is refrigerator. HELP!!!

1.Try unplugging the fridge for 5 minutes and then restarting it! This may reset the system!
2.If the freezer is so full that the rear vents are blocked then this may happen. Because the fridge and the freezer share the air!
3. If not then the freezer and the fridge have different controls and the freezer control if faulty!

then you need service. ur site has good service companies in your are for our customers!
