You have to go to menu then to video menu and choose YPetc instead of S-video. Easy to find. That is how we fixe our green picture after we connected our DVD player to our new Samsung LCD. Hope it helps.

The tv on;y shows a small pip window in color if it is a large picture the picture is in black and white how to fix?

Whatever input video signal you're using, PIP should be in color. What are you using out of your dvd for the second video input source, composite or component? Composite you should always have color, Component, if you have a bad red or blue, and just the green is working, you will get black and white. The green is the luminence signal.

My set has a RED background on all Inputs--DVD,Sat, Recorded DVR.....when playing a DVD a Bright Blue FBI screen is normal and the Bright Green Movie Rating Screen is Normal but the picture is RED....

I found a way to get into the service set-up....press Display, 5 ,volume + and Power.....green numbers come up---could figure out how to go to a Menu-----but somehow the picture is now perfect !

Anybody know why this fixed it......as I said the RED background was on all input screens....the screen with no signal was a solid red instead of Black......

Green tint to picture when dvi cable is connected

The tv will show correctly in 720p mode. Cable box and PS3 must be set to display in 720p or the green tint will remain. For the PS3 I return it to 1080p when I am about to play a game, blu-rays and dvd's can only play in 720p.

Dvd picture

Make sure component cables match colors between Television and DVD player. It should be TV input to DVD output. Try to play at least two DVDs to make sure its not a single DVD that may be having an issue. Also, adjust your television's picture setting to make sure its set to normal. Also access your DVD players menu to make sure the setting are set to normal as well.If it doesn't correct the problem, use a different component input on your television. If problem persists, you may need to contact the DVD player manufacturer to see if its still under warranty and not defective. Good Luck.
