Good day bogdan,i am desperately seeking your help to revive my 6120classic.its brand new from the box(1week), i damaged it last friday,i had a hangover and vommited all over it, i didnt realize what had happened till i woke up later in the day;by that time it was TOTALLY soaked. i removed the battery, memory card then disassembled.i cleared the vommit with diluted rubbing alcohol&a small soft paintbrush ,then i sprayed the circuit board with a circuit cleaner then placed it in the sunlight for about 2hours. i reassembled,n tried to power up repeatedly...got nothing. so i put the charger on,it took 5mins for the screen to brighten, displaying 'NOKIA'. i left it there for abt 2more minutes till it just switched 'off',then 'on'...i removed the charger n it stayed on for 6mins more, then it went dead...i left it for abt 2hours before i tried to get some more life from it, bt all that came on was the keypad's lights. what should i do next? im jerome

You just need your IMEI number, you can get it by dialing * # 06 # on the phone and it will pop up, right it down. If you can't get it that way, it is printed on the phone, take out the battery from the back and it will be printed on the label underneath. Then go here:
Good luck! Very easy...
Please reset the mobile factory setting by using default password 12345 . Then switch off the phone. Wait 2 minutes. Then turn on the phone. Hope your problem is resolved. If not then your mobile phone is virus infected , then please contact with your nearest Nokia service center. Thanks.
Unfortunately you phone has water damage, and your warrenty does not cover that. For your information, either behind the battery, or within the casing, there is a white dot, and when the white dot turns red the service provider knows that your phone has been in contact with water.
Your two options are to buy a new phone, or to wait it out and hopefully your phone will air dry and everything will work ok.
