Bosch classixx 1200 express sticking on 1 minute. Not heating water,so extending run cycle.Have checked ntc and heater, both ok. Does the wiring from heater element go to pressure switch?

Add water to increase water height, and hence increase the pressure to the pressure switch, if it's not blocked with soap debris it should tell the programmer that it has water, and allow the heater to turn on.

My bosch 1200 classixx express washing machine trips the RCD halfway through a cycle on a 30/40 wash.

Could be the heating element disconnect the wires to the element then tape them up of course make sure the plug is out before attempting any work, with the heater disconnected the machie may show another fault as not heating however should at least stop short circuit....

Hi Bosch classixx condenser dryer is not heating and drying ! cleaned out filter emptied condenser. HELP

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa,

Based on your post it may just be the hi-limit has tripped. Here's what I'd do/check.

**Unplug the unit from the wall or switch off the breaker...safety first**

Once the dryer has been disconnected from any power, remove the rear panel...

i.e.

Once the panel has successfully been removed, you'll see the heater with the Hi-Limit and NTC attached. The Hi-limit is the thermostat with the red button in the center...

i.e.

push it in to reset it. As you can see by the images I've provided, if you have a multi-meter or ohm meter you can verify the proper values of the listed components.

If the hi-limit is tripped, obviously something triggered it, you can check the possible culprits such as the NTC's or heater with the info I provided above as I alluded to.

( Even so, I'd suggest running it through a cycle or two with clothes and monitor it's performance, it may have tripped simply due to poor air flow from a large load etc. and therefore nothing is actually wrong...human error )

You may run the dryer momentarily without the rear panel in place ( provided nothing electrical has been disconnected, don't attempt an entire cycle. ) just to witness the heater functioning, but it isn't recommended for much longer than a minute or two.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and please let me know what you find out or if you indeed require further assistance.

Good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

I have bosch classic, the fuse goes off after 5

Make sure you hace a 13 amp fuse fitted in plug.
Could be a faulty heater element.
Locate heater, remove connections to heater and try without the
heater.
If it still blows, then could be a faulty motor, unplug motro, and try again.
Hope this helps.

Water not heating,element testing ok

Hi there

if element changed recently when it failed it may have damged heater relay on back of control module if the heater or this has failed you will only get a cold wash on any prog they will take nearly four hours to finish if it takes normal time to wash but doesnt heat will probably be an ntc fault this is attached to heater and easy to replace.
