NEW CABLE FROM NAKAMICHI IS £150 . INSTEAD JUST CUT THE METAL SHIELD OFF ANY CD MINI DIN CONTROL CABLE WITH A JUNIOR HACKSAW AND IT WILL FIT PERFECTLY (IT ONLY GOES IN ONE WAY BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE PINS ARE LAID OUT!). I USED AN OLD MAC DIN PLUG BECAUSE IT WAS 3M LONG! WORKS PERFECTLY!
Hi, I have a soundspace system also and have made many problems with it. I send it to a guy in England who appears to be the only Nakimichi repair person available. He accepts systems for repairs from all over the world............
His website is on google and is under nakamichi repairs TBT is the website. Hope this helps.
No - you can plug in external video using the SVideo input.. There are also a number of converters for similar situations. I have used one of these made for my Macintosh (It works just fine with the SS 8.5).
