But if i connect the same keyboard and mouse to the other CPU it is working....As there are many important files i cant reboot and if i reset the system by replacing the batteries is there any possibility of the deletion of the files in the system???please help me
The files on the computer are safe unless you 'physically' click on them and delete them. If you had a program open such as Office , Sage etc, often they will make a backup copy if the computer shuts down suddenly.
This sounds like a driver problem, make sure that you have the right drivers for the keyboard and and mouse, once installed, the computer should find keyboard and mouse automatically.

The most probable causes of this problem is that the receiver which is connected to the CPU or it is already broken. Try to check all your connection (of your wireless keyboard and mouse) replug it then restart your computer. If still don't work, it is already broken.

Assuming that you have good batteries installed, turn the
Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the
keyboard and press it. Then try to see if it is working. If not try
pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard. Try typing, should work okay.
Also to Rest/Connect the mouse, turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button
on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to
the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button
and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you
change batteries or glitch. Hope this
