Question about Canon PowerShot S110 / IXUS v Digital Camera
I just got this camera from a friend, but she didnt have the initial cd to make it able to download pictures. I have tried searching for the drivers on line, but to no avail. I have the USB and when I plug it in, the auto search can't find anything. The camera is in excellent condition and takes beautiful pics, but I don't know how to get them out of the camera!
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
This camera was designed to work with the software that originally shipped with it. Because it's seven years old now, and you don't have the software, your best solution would be to get a card reader. You can take the CF card out of the camera, plug it into the card reader, and any Windows OS from 2000 or newer, and any Mac OS X version can read the pictures directly from the card. A card reader can be found for $15 or less.
