Tey're evidently known for thiese types of issues. Your best ringing there support number 1-866-309-8819 I also heard that you may need to turn the tv off as many as 15 to 20 time on and off before it will exit sleep mode. Then you need to go to setup up and erace all automatically place tv into sleep mode settings! Good luck
I have some ideas, and I will try my best to diagnose what is wrong. If the monitors are all shutting off at the same time that would indicate a possible virus telling the computers to turn the monitors off after a set time. If its a random thing throughout the day, It sounds like a bad batch of monitors and they are overheating as most devices have safeties to prevent them from burning up or catching fire. Sleep mode is only for when the computer has been idle for a set time and it puts things on stand-by to save power. Usually moving the mouse or hitting a key on the keyboard wakes the PC up. New idea, maybe the monitor drivers are out of date or have become corrupted. I hope something here helps.
When the system is going back into sleep mode what color is the power button flashing. It should like the system my not be going into sleep mode but have a more serious problem.
Also let me know what you see on the screen as you turn on the system.
Another thing to try is after you unplug the system hold down the power button for 30 to 45 seconds. This will reset the power state of the system. Note if you have the system plugged into a power strip you will want to reset the power strip too.
Connect the monitor to some other computer, e.g., a notebook, and see if it does the same thing. If it does, then the monitor is the problem.
If it does not, then your computer is not putting-out any "video" signal, and so the monitor goes to "sleep".
If you have MORE than one VGA-output port on your computer, connect your monitor to the "other" VGA port.
Or, press-and-hold the ON/OFF button on your computer, to force it to completely shutdown.
According to the code, the problem is in the laser unit. It sounds like I'm talking to a technician, so I'll approach the problem that way. I personally would first reseat all the electrical connectors on the main PCB as well as the laser unit. Loose connections do sometimes cause codes like this one. The other thing I'd do before tossing the laser unit is to reset the error code because again, codes like this one do come up when the AC power fluctuates from time to time. This is accomplished by entering service mode and then resetting the error . . . your service manual for the ir105 will give you the same method for service model access and the general sequence is the same for resetting the error. Good luck.
you can't take it off of sleep mode. the only thing you can do is set it to go into sleep mode anywhere between 0 to 99 minutes. you do that by pressing "menu, 1, and 8." there, you can input how long you want sleep mode. no way of completely disabling. i'm thinking that somehow, it must have gotten set to 0 minutes.
My printer will not print after sitting for about 30 minutes. As soon as I turn it off and then back on the job I previously sent, prints out. I tried changing the amount of time before it goes to sleep but this does not correct it and does not seem to be related. You can hit the check mark to wake it up but it still will not print until turned off and then on.
