Be careful. Someone I know, who believed that changing a keyboard is piece of a cake, had to take his keyboard parts and laptop in a shoebox to a repair technician

I need to get the keyboard off undid all the screws for it and nothing its model hp g72b66us notebook and a pain where am i messing up

Once you have all the screws off on the back-side of the laptop, open it like normal and pry off the plastic covering on the front bezel of the laptop. This will expose two screws holding down the keyboard, and once you remove those, you can take the keyboard out.
Good luck!

I have a HP Pavilion dv9930us and its look likes a key is stuck on it. I want to replace the keyboard. Where do I start? i don't see any screw on it.

You will need a tork screwdriver to remove the screws. They are black and hard to see at times. Turn your laptop over so its on the screen and you should see them. Most times HP have keyboard symbols on the bottom to show you were the screws are.

How do I change/remove the keyboard on an HP Pavilion dv9700? There's a manual (linked to also from this site) on the HP site, but I get stuck on step 2, where there's reference to three screws above the...

The panel above the keyboard must be removed first. This requires removal of the battery and several screws across the top (from the back). Pry up gently but firmly. This will expose the 3 screws you are looking for. HINT: when removing the screws, lay them out (preferably on a piece of cloth or towel) in the order that they go. This makes reassembly much easier. Good luck.

Each laptop PC has screws on the bottom of the Laptop. They are labled on the shell at the bottom of the computer next to the screw. Depending on the Manufacturer! If you go to HP.com place your PC information in under the service and support, it has a detailed guide on how to replace your keyboard! If you need help let me know!
