I was able to get a good picture by doing the following. Using your PF 2025-3225 remote:
Press the volume to zero
Pressmute on the remote and hold (tv should say mute)
hold the menu buttuon on the tv
There are 10 menus as you press the arrow buttons, go to the first with anything "H". you will use the "e/wide" and "H" item also Trapzium and the parabolic setting and slowly use these until you get the desired quality.
The go to the "V" menu and adjust carefully until you get the desired quality. Do not adjust anything that is already set to 1 or 0, If you do and you get a blank or lined acreen just press the opposite arrow and it should go back to your picture.
Power off and on after you see a good picture.
You could use your cable guide or DTV Playlist as your picture as they have alot of items in the corners. that is how I did it, it worked for now.

Re: apex pf3225 picture is to wide for the screen
This problem is called blooming, it is caused by poor High Voltage regulation. It denotes a possible problem with the IHVT (Integrated High Voltage Transformer), or the HOT (Horizontal Output Transistor). I would suggest that you have a qualified TV technician troubleshoot and repair this problem.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

To adjust the picture parameters, you have to enter its service mode.
If you wish to get some details, check this link.http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Timeslide / Flipcard, can be
selected by the drop-down list, at the top left of the display window,
will make surf easy. You can also do a
search, by type in the brand name / model number / IC used, in the search
box at the top right of the display window. Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given in detail. Never try to enter the service mode, with a universal remote control. It might make wrong adjustment parameters, which you can't even make it right. The original remote control should be used for this purpose.
Press the "Menu" button on the remote control and use the arrow buttons to scroll down to the "Parental Guide" option, then press the "Enter" button. Type in the default parental code "6688" if you have not set your own code. If you have set your own code, type it in. If you set your own code and forgot it, override it by using "6688." Use the arrow keys to switch the parental lock to "OFF." This allows all programs to be viewed no matter the rating. Press the "Exit" button on the remote and start watching all your channels
Hit the "Menu" button surf through and enter "Picture settings' screen. There you can see various picture adjustments options. Just press "0" [zero] button on your remote, will set all the picture settings factory levels, and will solve your probelm. OK.
U tries used the DVD player remote to fix this problems, could be the DVD movie?Have the same problems, with the regular tv incomming broadcasting signal?Yes,than the tv Tuner signal board is the problems and the causes it dying and shorted.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.
OK...I paid a whole $50 for an Apex AT2702 that had [undisclosed] vertical zoom, horizontal shift, vertical shift and width issues. Before I raised hell for the person who sold it to me, I decided to first exhaust all alternative solutions.
I found that in order to tweak these settings, you have to be in service mode and must have a service manual which I can email upon request.
BE SURE TO DOCUMENT YOUR CURRENT SETTINGS SINCE ANYTHING YOU CHANGE WILL AFFECT YOUR SET'S PERFORMANCE !!!
1-Reduce your tv volume to 0 2-press the MUTE button on your original tv remote [you'll see "Mute" in red on the screen] 3-AT THE SAME TIME, press MUTE on the same remote and MENU on the tv controls. This set your tv into service mode [there will be a red "S" at the top-center of your screen.
You'll need the table in the service manual page 47 where there are V-SHIFT, H-SHIFT, V-ZOOM, E/W WIDE default values that will need to be changed. WATCH YOUR SCREEN as you change the values to ensure you don't over do it.
If you have news ticker and sports scores issues, you'll want to be tuned to CNN, FOX, ESPN or whatever to see how your changes are applied. If you have tv guide problems then tune to that channel or press info and see what happens when you make the changes.
BE SURE TO DOCUMENT YOUR CURRENT SETTINGS SINCE ANYTHING YOU CHANGE WILL AFFECT YOUR SET'S PERFORMANCE.
This has worked for my set and you may attempt this solution on yours at your own risk. I'm no longer pissed off that I got a bogus tv because it now works just fine and I can see everything!
