LCD TV picture has vertical lines through picture equal spacing
On screen menuing not affected but any input has the lines they change color with back ground red on black and change as picture changes. It looks as if it is losing interlacing. Hapened all at once. distance between lines change with different screen size and go from 1/16 of an inch to very thin the smaller the picture.

Line, faults & possible causes to both Plasma & LCD screen are given with illustrations. You can get an idea about the fault to an extent.
If this tv vertical colors lines problems happen by itself,tv problems not causes by u or an object by hitting forces to the tv LCD screen panel itself. The tv board that call the T-CON board it is dead, this board sit in the bottom in the middle of the LCD screen panel.Must be replaced the T-CON board to solve tv vertical colored vertical lines.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish T-CON board for the replacement. If causing by u or an object by hitting forces it to the LCD screen panel itself. The tv not worth a whole tv anymore, because by replacing the tv LCD screen panel will cost the same as a new tv.
if you still have line when you change your inputs and if it affects the menu most likely the lcd panel is bad and will need replacement. If not under warranty the panel will cost more than the tv did.
Try performing a factory reset of the TV. Go into the service menu (Press, then release the INPUT button on the remote, then key in 2580). Scroll down to "Other Settings", then go to "EEPROM Init", then press enter, select YES and press enter. This will reset the TV to the factory defaults. If that does not work, send it back for repair. Good luck!
If this is only happening on one input like your cable input and the dvd player is working great on a different input, then the issue can possibly be signal related and not a problem with the tv, if this haapens on any input you are watching, check to see if it affects the menu if it does then your looking at a Logic board issue, if it doesn't affect the menu but happens on multiple inputs then you have to replace the signal board
We have many problems with loose or poorly seated cables and connectors on these units. Pull the back and reseat all the internal cables, especially the LVDS cable to the LCD control bd. If this does not correct the problem the main cause is a bad LCD control bd. or possible a defective main bd.
