Question about HP Printers & Copiers

1 Answer

Hi, I am having a problem getting my printer (HP Photosmart 2570 All-in-one) to recognise a paper size. I am in the process of manufacturing Xmas cards and the card size I wish to use is 7" x 10" but the printer does not have this size as an option. When I enter the size 0n custom, it then asks for the paper type "other type of card " etc. Whatever I enter it tells me that size and type is incompatible. I would be grateful for some advice. Thanking you, Ken davies.

  1. Go to File, Page Setup in the application
  2. In Page Setup select "edit custom paper size " in the Paper size menu.
  3. Select the default paper size in the dropdown menu.
  4. Click Quit and then OK .
For whatever reason the paper size won't show until you exit the document and reopen it. this also has to be done on a document by document basis. But it should work.

I have a 3100 series HP. On it you select "Properties", then the "Features" tab. On that tab, there is a "Resizing Options" menu item. It has a drop down menu with "Letter", "More...", and "Custom" choices. There you can define the size.

hi,

to change the paper size, you can open hp solution center installed in your computer and there are optins to change.

you can also change the paper size by the below method also

start-->control panel-->printers and faxes--> right click on the printer icon and click on properties.

you have an option there also.

both make the same impact
