Question about Blue iHome Desk Lamp with iPod/mp3 Dock, (92903251641) Docking Station
My son's iHome lamp is making a humming noise when not in use, but aside from that, the device works perfectly. I have it connected to a wall-mount surge protector with 4 other devices. I have randonly unplugged and plugged in the different devices and have even plugged the lamp into a grounding plug before reconnecting it to the surge protector. I also plugged the lamp to a separate plug without a surge protector or other devices and the humming continues. I am just concerned that the humming is a sign that the lamp is malfunctioning and may become a fire hazard. I looked on the net and this is the closest I came to finding anything close to a solution.
Hi, I would suggest you exchange it for a new one under the 6month warrranty it has.
I have several iHome Lamps and I dont have a humming noise from any. I know its annoying but its an electrical item and sometimes they go wrong.
