Then choose your operating system from the list (XP, Vista, etc. If you don't know what the X64 bit means then dont select it).

In the next part you can select the full driver or the basic print and scan driver. The difference is that one has all of the HP software from the CD and the other just scans and prints (yet, it is alot smaller). If you like your printer the way it worked with the CD then I recommend downloading the full driver.

So just click on "HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers" and save it somewhere easy to find like on the desktop then wait for it to finish downloading (It will take some time). Now double-click on the file and follow the instructions and it should work just like the CD.

If you would rather aquire the CD you can choose the 3rd option down on the list. Then HP will mail you a CD. That option will only work for the US and Canada. If you need it delivered somewhere else in the world then you should go to the website for your region.

Cheers,
Adam.

My lappy hard disk is giving status that hard disk failure try to install in other location. then i connected it to my pc to take backup

Not sure I understand your Question... or maybe you are making a statement? But, it sounds like your hard drive (HD) is dead, no good , non useable... So what are your options? Purchase another hard drive, you should have received system backup disk or install disk with your laptop , you can use them to reinstall the operating system (OS) Windows on the new hard drive. There is a slight possibility you could try them (the install disk) to re-install your OS on your original HD, but again it sounds like your HD is dead.

If you have never made a back up of you hard Drive, then all your data (pic, documents, game, contacts) are lost. The problem most people don't understand is if the hard drive crashes for physical reasons, the spring breaks inside, or a diode burns out, then the data on the disk are lost.

You may also take your laptop to a computer repair shop near you and they can tell you more about your options.

Erase hard drive hp1055

In service test menu scroll to "3.Hard disc drive", & press enter, if test drive passed don't replace the hard disc or modification or changes. If test failed then check as shown below:
1 Switch the printer OFF. Remove the EIO Card (if installed) and re-install the Hard Disk Drive making sure it installed correctly by pushing it firmly inwards and checking that the two installation screws are completely tightened. Switch the printer ON again and repeat the Hard Disk Drive Test. If the Hard Disk Drive Test fails again then replace the Hard Disk Drive.
2 If the Hard Disk Drive Test passed after removing the EIO Card, then switch the Printer OFF and reinstall the EIO Card, making sure that the two installation screws are completely tightened.
Switch the Printer ON again and repeat the Hard Disk Drive Test. If the Hard Disk Drive Test fails, then the EIO Card could be faulty.Replace the EIO Card.
3 If the Hard Disk Drive Test continues to fail after replacing the EIO card or the Hard Disk Drive, then replace the Electronics Module..
I am having little knowledge, if I am wrong Pl don't comment, pl forgive me.

Lost some .dll files after reformat

No such thing, If you format a Hard drive it wipes all the data on it. Most laptops have a recovery partition and you don't get a windows install disk. If you formatted the recovery partition, you lost the Operating system. Contact lenovo for a backup windows disk, or download a copy of the windows version you have, then run a repair using the disk, this will fix it, or try and do a system restore.

I have a autorun.inf virus in my cimputer that disable my task manager and regedit. please help me!!

Remove the disk-drive from your computer.
Attach it as a "slave" disk-drive in a different computer that has up-to-date anti-virus software installed.
Run the anti-virus software, targeting "all" the files on that "slave" disk-drive,
if you believe that it is possible for any anti-virus software to remove 100% of any computer-virus.

Or, read: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc700813.aspx

which describes "best practises", namely to copy all your data files, "flatten" the disk-drive,
reinstall Windows, and reload your data.

Or, take this incident as an "opportunity" to install a new (larger? faster?) disk-drive into your computer, disconnecting the old disk-drive, and to reinstall Windows,
and to install an anti-virus software package.
Then, temporarily attach the old disk-drive as a "slave" drive, and copy all your files.
When the copy completes, FORMAT the "slave" disk-drive, to wipe-out ALL the files on that disk.

My system crashed. Won't reinstall windows

Do you need anything that is stored on the crashed hard drive? If so, you need to get an adapter for the drive and connect it to a desktop pc as the 'd:' disk. then copy any files you can access that you need saved.
Re-install the drive into the laptop, use "FDISK /MBR" from a floppy drive or a USB drive set up as a boot disk to re-partition it, and install the master boot record, and then boot the CDrom to install your operating system afresh.
The error message you are getting is caused by the 'restore' program trying to use the C: disk programs, and they are not there. I think you may have a bad hard drive, as usually the programs will be found.
You need to find out if the disk is really really bad or just needs to be re-formatted. Follow the above steps to determine if you need a new drive or not.

How do you wipe the compaq presario m2000

I'm not sure if you are wiping it to start over or to sell/give away.

Many newer machines have a Recovery Partition, usually your "D:" drive.

Access the System Recovery partition from the Start-All Programs-System Recovery-System Recovery Menu. Following the prompts will allow you to reformat the computer and reinstall the operating system and all software as it came from the factory. From that point, if you don't want any of the factory junk, you'll need to uninstall it yourself.

If the Recovery partition is missing, (usually a D: drive) , then you'll need to have the original Recovery discs which were created when the computer was new.

If you simply want to wipe it, use a disk wiping tool. Many hard drive wipers, cleaners or shredders can be downloaded at no cost. Visit Downloads.com to search for these programs that are designed to wipe your hard drive. Once you have downloaded a disk wiping program, install it on your computer. Each program will have a unique graphical user interface (GUI) and directions for use. Follow the directions for your selected disk wiping tool and run the program to wipe your hard drive. The program will make sure that all files and data have been completely erased by overwriting the entries multiple times.
