The problem with my camera is that it keeps saying for me to check the card protect switch

If you take the camera card out you will find a lock on the side of it, looks like thiscobra 6.0 megapixels camera - dff09d5.jpg once unlocked you can use the card.

If you can get to the camera's menu do a factory default reset. Otherwise, if the memory card can be removed try another one and format it in the camera.

If the slide switch has broken off then the easiest solution is to get a new memory card.

Write Protection: There is a tab on the memory card so you will you need to remove it from the camera and change the position of this tab to "unlock" it.
