Code for radio

My radio had lost signal and the conection had come out of the back so now i need the code to get it working again. there are 2 four digit numbers on the radio but neither of them work. the radio is a delco cdr 500 no. 09136107 other numbers are gm1500yp555610 it is a vauxhall astra dti sxi 2ltr.can anyone help. thankyou tina

New Alpine radio, went through setup, plays fine on radio/tuner on all four speakers, but ipod (USB port) or internal CD only plays on front speakers.


Just a thought - the usb provides a digital signal which carries information about how the signal is to be processed; mono, stereo, surround sound stereo, etc.
If the mp3 music file was only recorded in 2 speaker stereo perhaps that is how it plays back.

Admittedly the radio signal is stereo and yet it plays on four speakers but unless it is a DAB radio it is analogue and maybe that makes a difference.

Perhaps there is an internal electronic fault with the digital processing part of the unit. I suggest reading the handbook again and then perhaps contacting the seller.

I have a Suzuki SX4 and I have mistaken entering the lock code although I have the right one. Now radio is locked up. How can I make it work again with the right code?

Press BND/AST button about 3 seconds, three minus sign appear on the display. Use button 1 to set the 1st digit of the code, every time you press '1' the digit grows, then use '2' to insert the 2nd digit, and so on . After inserting all the digits, press again BND/AST 3 seconds to confirm the code and, if it' s the right, the radio is unlocked. The number on the left of the four '----' is the counter of times you made to enter the code.

Replaced battery and now radio does't work and sounds don't work


the radio will need a code before it will work again. the rest may be fixed with a reset using a code reader.;

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacturer's servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.

Page 1 SRV Series (Model SRV400) Q & A'sQ. My Parent and Baby (Camera) Unit have lost contact, what should I do?A. It may be possible that the encrypted code pairing both units has corrupted, to reset the code please
follow these instructions;
1. Place the Parent Unit next to the Baby Unit.
2. Activate both Parent and Baby Units by pressing their respective ON/OFF buttons for greater than
2 seconds.
3. Press the Mode/Enter Key to enter the Parent Unit's Main Menu screen.
4. Using the four-directional Navigation Keys, select the 'Add/Remove Baby Unit(s)' option and
press the Mode/ Enter Key to confirm your choice.
5. The current status shall now appear, showing all four Camera Units shaded grey;
6. To reconnect the Camera unit to the Parent Unit, using the Parent Units Navigation Keys ensure
the green circle is highlighting 'Camera 1'. Now press the Mode/Enter Key
7. Select the 'Add' icon with the plus symbol and press the Mode/Enter Key.
8. The screen will show the Parent Unit at the bottom transmitting a signal to Baby Unit

Press PGM on the remote control. The signal indicator on it remains lit.Enter the 3-digit program code with the number keys. Press OK The signal indicator will be o when the program is one.Press the volume keys on this remote control to check if they can adjust the volume of your TV set.• If you fail to control your TV set,repeat steps 2 to 4 to program again. Try another program code if there is more than one for your TV brand.• If the signal indicator remains lit after blinking four times, you may have
entered the wrong code. Repeat steps 3 to 4 to program again. My vauxhall stereo is stuck on safe mode how do i unblock it i have lost the code


1. turn ignition on (dash warning lights on)
2. If radio turned on, turn it off.
3. Press AS button in, and hold it in while turning radio on.
4. Wait approx 10 seconds (do not release AS button).
5. Radio should beep, and display should now read 10 - - - - (assuming no tries have been made in the past with the wrong code)
6. use pre-set button "1" to scroll the first digit in the display to the number you want (it goes 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 then back to 0)
7. Use pre-set "2" for second digit, etc.
8. Once display reads 10 followed by the four digit security code press and hold AS button for about 10 seconds, until the radio beeps.
9. If correct code entered display will now read "code" briefly, followed by"memory-U" briefly, then radio will reprogram it self.
10. If radio goes back to "safe" the code number is incorrect, or you mis-keyed it.

Note: entering the code incorrectly 10 times will render the radio useless.
After the first 3 tries you need to leave the radio on and the ignition on for increasingly long periods of time before it will let you try again. 7 safe need you to wait at least 30 mins, and more like 1 hour.

WARNING - you only have a max of 10 attempts to get it right, but if still no luck after the 8th attempt, STOP and contact a Vaux dealer.

Replaced Battery Lost Radio ,code needs to be reset


you must call any new dealership of oldsmobile they have the code you have to tell them you are the owner of the car ,and some dealer´s are free of charge,you must send the car or proof of the ownership.
and the next time you change battery for any car try to input a 9v battery on de cigarette ligther,i can explain,get any cable who conects to a cigarrete lighter and cut the wire,then conect the two wires to a 9v battery and conect to the charger of the cigarrte lighter,then disconect the battery and conect the one ,this way you wont lose any code for any radio and any car or any computer codes,i used to work an a car lot for 14 years,hope this will help,good luck

Sounds like you either left something loose or lost a piece of shielding. Was there a filter on the antenna that you forgot to put back on?
