Vitpar model VWD1006BLP cold water feature not cooling water is coming out room temp. I have adjusted the cool setting with no change.

Hi,

Page 7 of the manual list some options. Please make sure that you're cooling full bottles in your machine for at least 60 minutes. That is, cooling take at least 60 minutes. Heating is only 3. Double check that the fuse linked to the outlet that powers your machine hasn't blow. For more details, please check page 7 of your product manual.

Thank you.

How do I set coffee maker to shut off in 2 hrs and how to use clean cycle

Not knowing which model you have, here are the instructions for my model. Perhaps yours is the same.

"The Automatic Shutoff
Time can be programmed anywhere from immediate shutoff after completion of the brew cycle up to four hours. When the coffeemaker shuts itself off, two tones will sound. Two hours is the default time. The 0:00 setting shuts the unit off immediately after brewing is complete.
To check the current setting, press and hold the On/Off button and the Automatic Shutoff Time will be displayed.
To change the preset time, press and hold the On/Off button until the red power light and LCD display begin to flash. This signals that you have entered the Set Automatic Shutoff mode.
Press the Hours and Min buttons to scroll forward through the digits until desired time appears. The first setting which appears is preset at 2:00. When it's at 4:00, the next press key of Hour will roll back to 0:00, since four hours is the maximum Automatic Shutoff setting. Pressing and holding either button will allow you to scroll continuously, slowly at first, and then to accelerate to the rate of about three digits per second. As the desired time setting approaches, release the button and then press repeatedly to advance one digit at a time. The Automatic Shutoff Time (ASO) may be 8 9 programmed either before or during coffee brewing. You may also re-program the ASO time when brewing has been completed. If you do so, the Grind & Brew™ will automatically account for any time that has already elapsed after brewing. For example, if you set the ASO for 40 minutes and 25 minutes have already elapsed, the Grind & Brew™ will shut off automatically after 15 minutes (40 minutes minus the 25 elapsed equals 15 minutes)."

Mine doesn't have a specific clean cycle, but to decalcify the unit, add 1/2 vinegar to 2/3 water in a full cafree and run it through. If it's really calcified, turn off about 1/2 way through and let it set for an hour. Then turn it on and finish, Remember to run a pot of clean water through the wash out the vinegar taste.

All I need is the manual to my Mr.Coffee Pot how to set the timer to Mr. Coffee GBX23.

First set the clock on the brewer with the unit plugged in. Press and hold the Hour and Minute buttons until the current time is set. Next press the Delay Brew button while using the Hour and Minute buttons to reach the time you want the coffee to begin brewing.

Set up the coffee maker with ground coffee or beans and sufficient water in the reservoir then follow the directions below.

For brewing with fresh ground beans, press and hold the Delay Brew button until it flashes then press Select once. The Grind and Brew light should come on and the Delay Brew light should become steady.

For ground coffee, press and hold the Delay Brew button and then press Select twice. The Brew Only light and the Delay Brew light should both be on and steady.

Most Mr. Coffee product manuals are here: http://www.mrcoffee.com/InstructionManuals.aspx . The direct link to the GBX23 manual is http://www.mrcoffee.com/Manuals/MANUALS/GBX23_43_50118420.PDF .

I hope this helps.

http://www.smallappliance.com/images/SmallAppliance/English/products/standard/DCM485.pdf

I have Mr Coffee APX33; I do not know how to set the coffeemaker to turn on automatically. I do not have the manual. Hope you can help. Thanks! Larry

First you have to make sure to set the clock for the correct current time:
Press down and hold the SET button. Then alternately press the UP and DOWN buttons (indicated by arrows), until you reach the current time, then release the SET button. (there is a PM indicator on screen but not an AM indicator - if you don't see the PM you are at AM)

To set the time for the brew to start in the future:
Press and release the MODE button once and the Delay Brew Clock picture will start flashing on the screen.
While the Clock picture is flashing - hold down the SET button while you use the UP and DOWN arrow buttons to set the desired brew time (you can hold down an arrow button to get there faster). Release the SET button and now that brew time is programmed. (After a few seconds the clock picture will disappear but the future brew time is programmed.)

To activate the delayed brew:
Press and release the MODE button once. The Clock picture will be flashing and the time shown will be the time that you previously set for the future brew). While the Clock picture is flashing - press and release the BREW button. The Clock picture will remain on steady. The BREW light will not come on until the time in the future that you have programmed.

Pretty confusing - but it does work. Just remember that if you see the Clock picture on steady - the machine will come on at the time you have set in.
If you want to use the machine earlier - while the Clock picture is steady - you just press the BREW button and it will brew.
If the Clock picture is steady but you want to cancel the automatic future brew - just press the BREW button twice. (This turns it on and then off and cancels the future brew).

I can send a copy of the manual if you like. Lennyg678@aol

Coffee maker, bought used cuisinart grind &brew, how do i use it?

Setting the Clock:
When the coffeemaker is plugged in, 12:00 will
flash continuously until you set the time.
Entering “Time Set” Mode:
To set the time, hold down either the “Hours”
or “Minutes” button until the clock stops flashing
and begins to count up (about 2 seconds).
You are now in the “Time Set” mode and can
operate either button to achieve the desired
setting. The buttons can be held down to scroll
through the digits, or pressed and released
lightly to advance one digit at a time.
When scrolling, the numbers will advance
slowly at first and then speed up to the rate
of about three per second. When the number
displayed approaches the desired setting,
release the button and press repeatedly to
advance one digit at a time. Be careful to
make sure that the PM indicator is on if a
PM time is desired.
Exiting “Time Set” Mode:
The “Time Set” mode can be exited in
one of two ways:
1. Press any button besides the “Hours” or
“Minutes” button. This will exit the “Time Set”
and activate the selected function.
2. Do nothing. If neither the “Hours” nor
“Minutes” button is pressed for a period
of five seconds, the “Time Set” mode will
be exited.

I have a dgb600bc grind and brew. It will initially grind and brew the coffee hot, but as soon as the brewing is done the heating element shuts off causing the coffe to slowly get cold.

Hi,

When the cycle is finished, the coffeemaker will beep 5 times, indicating that the coffee is ready. The unit will turn off automatically.

The insulated carafe keeps the coffee warm for four hours. The aroma of the coffee is preserved thanks to the hermatic cover. It is not necessary to remove the cover to pour coffee.

Hope this will help you.

Set brew delay

Assuming you're talking about the FT series with the "delay brew" button and the 24 hour analog as opposed to digital clock, it's simple.

First, you have to have your correct time set. This is simple just press the hour button and then the minute button until the correct time is showing. Be sure to look for the AM PM indicator to make sure you're getting the desired time set.

Then press the delay brew button and use the same hour and minute buttons until you get the desired time (again watch for am/pm)

That's it.
