Question about HP Photosmart C5280 InkJet Printer
I am unable to get my printer to work, it keeps telling me that the carriage is jammed. There is nothing physically jamming the carriage but there does seem to be a loose part in the carriage. Can you help?
Make sure to check all the way to the right and left inside. I ussually find paper loose in either of those ends. Then check your encoder strip which is the plastic strip that the carriage slides on. This may be dirty causing this issue. Use a soft paper towel and alcohol. Windex is okay to but may leave streaks on it and give same issue.
