Unplug mp3 player from computer. Uninstall all the Sansa software. Then reinstall it. Then and only then, plug the Sansa back into the computer.

Will my mp3 player (sandisk sansa m230) charge

Assuming the computer puts out enough juice, yes. Not all USB ports do.

Plug it in, and the Sansa should say "Charging" if it is charging. If it doesn't, try a different USB port if possible. If your computer has ports on the front/side and on the back, the back ones are more likely to put out sufficient power.

2gb Sansa Fuze won't recognize 2gb Micro SD

place the blank card into the SanDisk player
go to SETTINGS press "enter"
go to SYSTEM SETTINGS press "enter
go to FORMAT press "enter"
it will ask "are you sure you want to format this device"?
select YES

dowload songs to REMOVABLE DISK drive F, at least that is what my PC assigned it to. You will overload your MP3 PLAYER if you continue to download to the Sanza Drive.

Hope this helps.

How do I put cd music on to a mp3

Put the CD into your cd drive and plug the mp3 player into the computer via usb cord. Go to My Computer and find the cd drive (most likely E: or D:) and open it. Highlight all the songs or Ctrl Click the ones you want and right click COPY (or ctrl + c) then go back to My Computer, find your player (will show the name) and just place the songs in the Music folder like any other songs.

Change the USB Mode to auto-detect and see if you get better results. If that fails, switch entirely to MTP mode.

Delete Songs from e260 sandisk

you don't have to use an editor to delete songs on your mp3. when you put the mp3 cable on your computer just go to "open folders to view files" den go to my music and you can now add or delete songs.

4 GB micro sd and the Sandisk Sansa e250R...

If the 4gb micro SD is a high capacity SD (it will say micro SDHC on it) your player may not be able to read SDHC cards, my sansa can't because it's the 'older version' it will read 2gb and below micro SD cards though (it sucked when I found out because I had just bought a 6gb micro SDHC)
