Question about Computers & Internet
On my ibm thinkpad r31 the windows logo comes on- then the screen goes blank . i dont have a disk to reboot, is there another way to fix this problem? ive tried starting it in safe mode, etc. it wont work.
Tried posting a couple of times before, but guess they didn't show up, so will try again.
Just for grins and giggles, try the following and see if it doesn't do the trick.
1-remove and reseat the hard drive and try again.
2-remove and reseat the memory module(s) and try again.
3-remove the battery & power cord and let set for awhile. At least for 1/2 hour and maybe as long as over night.
Try these as a first step and let me know how you come out.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
