Question about Computers & Internet
I'm running windows XP pro on a dell inspiron 9300 laptop; after installing bitdefender internet security 2009, my CD drive seems to have stopped working. when i load the CD, it starts to wind up like normal than goes dead. when i look at it in my device manager, there is a yellow exclaimation point next to the CD device. i've tried uninstalling the CD drive (including physically pulling the drive out), reinstalling it and updating drivers - nothing works. i wonder if this is coincidence or if there is something about bitdefender that is causing the problem. i guess another test is to uninstall bitdefender to see if i get the CD drive back. any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!!

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
