Open Question

My Conair Infiniti flat iron model CS32B, the handles will will not close tightly. There's a gap as I bring the handles together. It will not clamp shut which results in the hair falling through the handles. Help? Thank you and Happy Holidays.

I am not interested in your service. I found it deceiving, and disappointing that you charge for a simple question that I thought I was receiving for free. I will call the manufacturer directly when I get home from my trip. I will never use or recommend your service or company.

I just got my Infinity by conair model cs32 straightener and it will not turn on or heat up. Please help.

If you just purchased it today or up to 30 days after purchase, TAKE IT BACK!!. If you start having problems from the beginning you will possibly always have them.

You may bring this to a technician and have the unit opened so that temperature control knob can be realigned.

I have two irons. one if them won't turn on anymore and i noticed the light kept fading out. the light on the other one flickers and it stops working halfway through straightening. any solutions?

Most likely it is the power cord. We have the same iron and the power cord has a break in it just as it comes out of the swivel. You can turn it on and hold the power cord tight up against the swivel and it should stay on. I was able to fix it by stripping the cord down to the wire soldering and adding shrink tubing to the connection. That lasted for about 1 year and it has done it again. I may have to replace it but not sure how to take it apart.

Spring broke on my curling iron

My husband uncurled one wrap on each side of the spring, giving enough wire to stick under the clamp. It's not a good solution, but it works for now.

Power chord frayed and I need a new one for a conair hair iron CS36. The chord pivots in the handle 360 degrees.

go to (www.fixit.com/small apliance)
what I found out with my hair dryer (conair infinity model) was that there was a short at the plug and when I bent the wire a little to left or right the dryer would work. The plug is GFI protected that means there is a test and reset switch built in to the plug. There for for me to fix my hair dryer I would have to replace purchase order the whole cord. The cord assembly cost almost half the price it would cost to replace the dryer with a new dryer. I purchased a new dryer.
