LG 22" HD ready LCD Picture mode problem

I bought a LG 22LG30R 22" LCD panel few days ago. Everything is ok but the problem is that when I am using the picture mode as 'USER1' or 'USER2' it is not stable. If i am not touching the remote button for more than 2 min the picture mode automatically comes to 'VIVID'. But the VIVID mode is not suitable for regular viewing. Also the ratio I'm using other than 16:9, its coming to the default ratio 16:9. Please help.

Thanks.

Actually I found a solution for this. There is option for factory reset and after that user have to select "HOME" mode. And thats all.

The other mode is "In-Store" mode which is used for the showrooms.

This problem is going to be a bad main board (sometimes called digital board). Hope this helps.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

LG 22" TV with Geforce nVidia 5500 FX 256MB AGP card

Try getting a new video driver. Foreware = motherboard drivers and such, not video.

I saw this driver on Nvidia.com

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_175.19_whql.html

Its the XP driver for those 5000 series FX cards like yours. Try installing that and checking out the Nvidia Panel after.

1680x1050 is an odd resolution for TV, that is what normal 22" monitors have but I guess it will do up to 1680x1050 only when hooked up to a PC.

Samsung le40a lcd - picture quality

Hi - I have some suggestions. The following factors effect picture quality:
1. Source (because LCD TVs have much higher picture quality than traditional CRT "Tube" TVs, the worse your source material, the worse it looks on a LCD TV).
DVD and Sky/Digital TV should look excellent on this TV when connected with a good quality Scart lead (nothing too expensive, but a Oxygen Free Copper Gold lead may help) directly into one of the TV's Scart inputs (avoid using "switching" boxes for multiple equipment).
Also, bear in mind that this is a HUGE screen (40 inches I think) and will REALLY show up bad source material.
The best advice I can give is, if you have HD-ready equipment use HDMI connections for everything (ideally with an HD-uplscaling DVD player which will "improve" the quality of standard DVDs on the TV - I recommend models by Philips) and check that you are in "Movie" or "Cinema" mode on the TV.
Make sure that all of your equipment, like your Sky digibox, is set to 16:9 mode (not 4:3) aswell to preserve the true widescreen aspect ratio.
Hope that helps!
