SOURCE: Uniden UBC92xlt

foursons, have you tried resetting the scanner yet. On pg 47 it mentions about turning banks of channels on or off. Possibly some banks got turned off. Resetting the scanner starts on Page 53.
I hope this helps somehow, and good luck with it,, Mechanic

Whatdoes do1 stand for in front of the number on my uniden uhf

An older uniden for a frequency range between 100 and 199 mhz may expect you to interpret the frequency being shown as 1 followed by other digits on your display. For example a frequency of 145.350 may expect you to mentally add the printed "1" and digits 45350 giving the total frequency. This saved the manufacturer from having to purchase another digit to display the frequency since it is always 1 to start with.

What type of ariel do i need for uniden ubc92xlt scanner

Are you looking to replace the antenna on the unit or hook it up to a larger separate antenna?

The antenna connector should be a standard BNC, there are a range of antennas to choose from either way.

Uniden ubc92xlt

Remove the battery for a hour. Put the battery back in. Press down at the same time and hold the #2 and #9 key when you switch it on - that will do a factory reset on almost all Uniden scanners. Then release, push manual, program, enter frequency of the local weather station and you should hear it.

Hi im new to scanning i bought a uniden ubc92xlt handheld scanner bit dont no how to scan propley anyone can give me any tips how to use this for police taxies planes regards paul

Programming and operating the UBC92XLT is fairly straightforward, and detailed instructions can be found in the factory manual. If you don't already have this document, you can download and print it here:

http://www.uniden.com/pdf/BC92XLTom.pdf

The above manual is for the USA model BC92XLT, but the two scanners are nearly identical.

Thank you for your questions.

Please find the user manual for the Uniden scanner here (it may take a few moments to load). It requires a PDF reader to view the document such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader.

Best regards.
