Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Need to set up internet to psp need good instructions
Get you a roiuter.. any router will do. you can get them cheap now at major retail stores. Once hooked up and running on your pc, turn your psp on.. make sure your "wlan" is turned on (top of your psp). go to network settings and go into that. go to infastrucure mode, hit x. highlight new connection. Your now in WLAN settings. go to scan and press the right button. Scanning will now take place. Your router is now available.. On SSID you will see the name of router, hit the right button, WEP , then hit right again.. you will need to put down the number given to you, when you installed the router on your pc.. its like a security number ( in case someone around your neighborhood tries to use it).. put in the number and press right.. save options.. and your ready to your internet browser. You can now update firmware at Network update too.. have fun.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Tips for a great answer:
Turn on your PSP by moving the power button on the right-hand side of the console in an upward motion. Under the console's main screen, go to the "Settings" icon. This is the first icon listed and is farthest to the left. From the drop-down menu, choose the "Network Settings" option at the end of the list.
Select "Infrastructure Mode" and press the "X" button. Select the "New Connection" option to add a wireless connection to your PSP. Choose the "Scan" option to instruct your PSP to search for accessible wireless connections in your area.
Select a wireless connection from the connections your PSP is able to access. Confirm the name of the network and press the right arrow button. Confirm the security encryption settings for the connection. In most cases, the PSP will determine the network's encryption automatically. Enter the wireless connection's password if the network is secured.
Name your new wireless connection so that you will be able to identify it in the future and save your settings. Run a test connection to ensure you are able to connect to the Internet through the wireless network.
Press your PSP's "Home" button at the bottom left-hand side of the console. Move your cursor to the right to find the "Network" icon. Select the "Internet Browser" option from the drop-down menu. Press the up directional arrow and press "X" to enter a web address into the browser. Once you enter a web address, your PSP will automatically connect to the Internet using the WiFi connection you set up previously.
