Make sure your wireless is on, disable WEP on the router and see if you can connect, if you can try againwith WEP. If this fails try and use the hex key instead of the WEP password set up on the router. Also make sure that your router is doing DHCP over WEP or you won't be able to resolve web pages even if you are properly connected to the Internet.
