Question about Audiovox PPC-6600 Pocket PC

Internet connection I just bought my 6600 from a private seller. the phone works great in all its features. the only thing is when i attempt to connect with my cell phone provider it doesnt recognize the username or password given to me when prompted to input the data. their tech support couldnt help all they could do is reset their side and push info to my phone but to no avail. i had their office who programmed the phone to help me but the same issue, they dont know. so now i am stuck with a 150 dollar phone with no internet connectivity. what do i do. we tried everything but i feel i am just going to get the same steps repeated to me once more and it will be just frustrating. can you help?

Hi .
First time when i bought my Nokia 6233 , i tried to connect it to the internet but i couldn't . Then i asked the service provider costumer support for help . They told me to send a message to a certain number . This message contains the type of my cell phone (Nokia 6233) . In few moments i received a message from them telling me that I'm going to receive a message from them contains all configurations that will automatically set my phone , that will make it connect to the internet . Then i received the message and i saved it the way they told me to do . Just call the support number of your service provider and they'll help you . Just ask them about such a certain message like I've told you how . if they couldn't provide helpful information , here what to do .
Just look for a friend that is already a costumer with the same Service provider and already has Internet access on his mobile device and for sure he'll help you .

Are you saying they didn't have a browser on your phone? what kind of phone is it that you have? if it's a smartphone, Then you have one and you may not recognize the icon. They always try to fix things that aren't broken. They try making an image look new and fresh to get attention. If you can get me the manufacturer of the phone, we can move on from there :)

Need help to unlock the cooktop


You will have to hold the lock button down for 3 or 5 seconds for it to unlock. If this doesn't help, it could be a stuck key pad or a problem in the circuit board.

How do I connect to the internet on my phone?


Hello Jbolton,

Unblocked phones with telephone providers are not guaranteed to work with the new provider.

In your case, the phone was locked to the TELUS network and was programmed to work that way. Once you unblocked the phone to work with Rogers, the phone signal will work however the phone's 4G connection may simply not connect and there is no support for this because the phone is considered "gray market"

Your only real solution is to use wi-fi networks in the area to use the internet. Even if you manually programmed the access point name and operator network, the phone will still most likely not connect to the 4G network.

Please clear your Internet browser cache:

Firefox 3 for Windows
  • From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data
  • Check Cache and then Clear Private Data Now
Internet Explorer 7
  • From the Tools menu, select Internet Options
  • Choose the General tab.
  • Under Browsing history, click Delete
  • Next to "Temporary Internet Files", click Delete files
  • Click Close, and then click OK to exit.
Firefox 3 for Mac OS X
  • From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data.
  • Check Cache and then click Clear Private Data Now

Whoops, the second part of that is press FEATURE *0 and the intercom button before you move it and see what extension it is.
Do the same thing after you move it. It will tell you what extension it is and if it stayed the same.

The system CoOrdinator or installer can turn off that Auto Set Relocation feature :-)

get the settings for GPRS or 3G as what service of internet is in ur plan from the customer care helpline of AT&T.

it should work then.
