I have a 32 inch Haier TV and my comcast cable remote wont work with it. I need to know how to get my tv to sync with my cable remote.

there is an auto search method....some remotes you can hold the tv button down and then the select button simultanteously for a few seconds to make the light turn red and then proceed with codes, when you get the right code you press the select button again, the light blinks and you are done..... well with out a code its the luck of the draw..... the auto search method is similar to programming the code in....hold the tv button and the select button for a couple seconds until the tv button lights up, but instead of a code.....press the channel up button(that represents the first autosearch code), continue until the tv turns itself off and then press the select button to lock it into the remote...........if you go past the trigger point you can channel down to backtrack.... otherwise drop it in the toilet until it wont work, call the cable company and have them send out a tech with anew remote. they cant charge you for their equipment not working correctly.
trust me, i am a supervisor at a major cable company.

I have an orion combination TV, VHS & DVD player. I cannot access the back of the set to see the model #. I want to know how to change the video input button. Don't see one.

the button is on your tv factory remote control. a universal remote wont work. now you can try to physically go to the channel down button on the tv. keep pushing it until it counts down the channels, then it should go to video 1, video 2, line video, front video. fixed! enjoY!

Tv won;t turn on little green light flashes on power button

Any malfunction associated with a flashing light usually indicates a circuit problem or defective component. Unfortunately, the days of taking off the back cover of your TV and replacing a defective tube or fuse are long gone. Proper servicing will require troubleshooting procedures that can only be performed by a qualified electronic repair facility or professional television repair person. Ask for an estimate and a realistic appraisal of whether the set can be adequately fixed. Depending on the age and condition of your TV it may not be cost effective to repair.

My menu keeps popping up tv and my volume dont work

Most of the time this is caused by one or more of the front panel buttons being bad. I would have all of them replaced.

Sanyo tv wont stay on

The problem of your TV is the power switch, and best solution for this is replacement with a good one.
Warning: The next procedure must be done by an expert to avoid risk.
1.Open the the back cover of the TV and detached the board.
2.Try to see any broken solder or cut PCB lay-out on the board.
3.Get a continuity check to the switch. If the switch is defective replace it with a good one.

Channel keeps changing

It sounds like a stuck button or switch. What happens when you hit the channel DOWN, does it still keep scrolling down?
Is this with or without the remote?
Have you tried it with the remote and or the TV?

Let me know whether you are changing the channels with the remote or the buttons on the tv and I can try to give you a couple more suggestions.
Mac =)
