Question about Insignia Pilot MP3 Player
Here is a reset function you can try, although it will require erasing everything in the memory. I did this when my Insignia player froze up.
1. Press and hold the "select" button down. keep holding it while:
2. Slide the "on-off" switch to "off" and hold it there.
After a few seconds a menu will appear that says "erase memory?" or something to that effect. When it appears then...
In this order:
1. Immediately release the "on-off" switch
2. release the select button
3. Select "yes"
4. press select button again.
This should reset your unit without having to pull the battery connection. But it will erase everything..

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
