Problem for Philips 21PT4475 TV
Picture is cut off at top and bottom

The picture seems to be to big. It is cut off at top and bottom. I have tried all the different format settings and it is teh same on all of them. I tried to reset all AV settings and it doesntg do anything. TV is a 42 inch Phillips flat screen less than 1 yesr old

Hello This is an indication that your vertical output stage is beginning to malfunction. It could be the vertical output IC or the vertical coupling capacitor. I would suggest using the schematic and an oscilloscope to determine if the signal is correct. You may have to replace the IC or the capacitor.
