I had my DS for over a year now, and about a month ago i accidently bent the prongs on my AC adaptor. After straightening them, i proceeded with charging the DS. A week later, the power turns on and off irregularily, usually when i'm playing! Now the power switch doesnt even turn it on or off anymore. i blame the bent adaptor, but those around me disagree. Any suggestions?

Re: Erratic power on and off
Sometimes the connector can break loose from the board, there is very little solder holding them on and this would cause erratic behavior, everything is so small that the slightest improper connection causes big problems. lets get you fixed up. firstname.lastname@example.org

Try using a fork or thin knife to straighten them out. Be very careful and gentle though. Maybe just take them to professionals to get it fixed, before you damage it more. Long nosed pliers also might work.
If the prongs are bent, all you need to do is to get a pair of pliers and try to re-align them. If that is not possible, you can try to open up the power supply and directly tap the power cable into the prong's cable line (if you have an idea how to do this, go on and try it. If you have absolutely no idea how to do it, then its better to just bring your power supply to a local electrician, they can probably fix the problem in no time)
if the touchpad is working fine with the battery and if it is not working with the ac adaptor then in this case u can try with the different ac adaptor and still if it does the same thing then uninstall and resintall the toouchpad driver and restart the computer and still if it does so with the ac adaptor then u need to open the laptop chasis and then u need to fix up the power supply connector in the motherboard where the power supply from the ac adaptor is not getting the adequate response from motherboard.
