There is no other way to change the password to this model set. You have to consult the dealer for further advice, as its manual says.

I need to set a password for my Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router, but the websited 192.168.0.1 to set the password isnt working. I need help ASAP. Thank-You

to access the router page for linksys, you need to type 192.168.1.1 on the address bar. username is " admin " password is " password " if it doesnt work, try "admin" for username and "admin" for password. then it would take you to the router page. and you can start configuring.

I'm trying to change the channel i'm on but don't have a clue how

Usually, goto your web browser and go to the routers web address: http://192.168.1.1
it should ask for a user name and password...
user name = admin
password = password (the word password), if the word password doesn't work... leave it blank or use the word admin as the password
next, goto your wireless settings for your router and find the channel setting... it should be set to auto or channel 6... there you can change it and then save settings...
Your router should reboot and the channel should be changed to the channel you want.

How do I change the frequency of my router

Here are the steps to change frequency:

1. Open a web browser and type the IP address of the router into the navigation bar. For most routers, the IP address is 192.168.1.1.

2. Enter your username and password into the prompt. This is the administration password to access the router's console.

3. Click the "Wireless" tab. Select "Basic Wireless Settings." This opens a window with a "Channel" section. This section is where frequency settings are changed.

4. Select channel 1, 6 or 11. These channels provide the clearest signal since they do not overlap other channels. Click the "Save" button and close the browser window.

5. Reboot the wireless computers. A change in frequency drops wireless devices from the network. The computers need to be rebooted to find new network settings.

I need to find the ssid#, wireless channel, wirele...

no setup cd needed. after connecting to a PC, open browser and type in 192.168.0.1 or perhaps 192.168.1.1 -- when the router displays it will ask for a password. if you had one and can't remember it do a hard reset to return to factory settings. then log into it leaving the username blank with the default factory password. many times that password is admin -- download the owner's manual that will have the default password and instructions and explanations for the settings, including how to do a "hard, factory" reset for free at the manufacturer's website. try the help, support, or download sections. the drivers are there too.

Log in using a wired connection to the router (probably 192.168.0.1 but if you right click on your conection and check the details it will be the gateway address) and go into the security settings and select the securilty system you want WEP or WPA. You will need to set up all the wireless devices devices to the same system

How can I get my Olevia tv back to the factory settings?

It's at the bottom of the Miscelaneous Menu (Book & wrench icon):
"Reset Factory Settings:
Initiating Factory Default will reset all OSD settings to original
manufacture settings. The only items, which will remain unaffected are:

Clock
Auto Scan Channels
Edited Channels
Parental Control Password "
If you are trying to take off the parental password:
"Note: If you forget the password, press "9999" to lift the Password lock
and change to a new preferred password. "

Log in to your Netgears's set-up page by typing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 into your web browser.

Once in navigate to the wireless page and there you will find the channel setting. Choose the one you want to use and click apply.
The router will then go offline for a while while it resets then it should comer back on transmitting on the new channel. Nothing else should have changed.
