Question about Mitsubishi MDT461S 46 in. LCD Television

Mitsubishi LT-46149 no video only sound

When I start up the TV I get video for about 2 secs then it blacks out. I continue to get sound regardless of which input. This occurs on my directv input, my Blue Ray DVD input and also the Wii input.

This happened all of a sudden in the middle of watching a movie. I have reset the TV, unplugged it and restarted ... bu the problem continues.

Mitsubishi LT-46149 power lamp just flashes and tv will not turn on. Tried the reset and unplugged overnight, also I do wait for the "boot up" still just have a flashing power lamp. Any ideas?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

Why my 52" mitsubishi Model LT-52151 has sound no picture

Go to the Mitsubishi website, download the upgrade, save it on a flash drive, plug it into your TV, follow directions provided on the website. If you have done this previously, check on website to see if there are any other upgrades, if not, repeat the previous one. This has worked for us. Good luck! Also where you bought the TV may be able to assist you. Mitsubishi will send you the upgrade on a flash drive for a charge.

On a mitsubishi tv (LT-46149) the manual intructs us to wait exactly one minute for the LED green light to stop flashing and then its alright to turn on the tv, the problem is that the light wont stop...

It is possible that you have a bad power supply, or the TV has been hit by a small power surge and if you unplug the set from the wall for 40Min., it will rest back to normal.

2 year old Mitsubishi LT-46149 46" LCD Flat Panel

Does it come and go? I would try reseting the ribbon cables between the LCD panel and the T-CON board first.
The Flexible Printed Circuit BoardS (FPCB) are ultrasonic welded to the LCD TFT panel, they are not SOLDERED on! The connections do get bad due to very delicate nature of how the LCD panels are made. You can also try squeezing the around the top area of the screen where the lines are to see if the lines go away.

There might be some similarities in the manuals with these models (since they are the same brand of LCDs).

JVC 42 inch LCD HD TV has no picture or sound

utencilio posted this fix. It worked for my JVC LT-42X579.

Okay, I found a fix! Called JVC, spoke to somebody there, here it is:
1)unplug the TV completely, no wall no power strips, completely
2)wait 10 sec
3)plug TV back in and Turn it on, the light will still be doing the same thing
4)wait 30 sec
5)ON THE TV, not the remote, locate the menu, volume (-) and power button.
6)while simultaneously holding down the menu and volume (-) button, pressed the power button ONCE and continue to hold the other 2 for 10 sec.
7)on the remote control, go to menu>settings>system info
*** now this I know as a FACT will work on systems that display: JVC - ver.5.32FO001, but I don't know of any other versions***
8)press the mute button on the remote twice
9)unplugg TV again and wait 10 sec.
10) plug TV in and turn on

It SHOULD be working normally now... Thanx to the guys a JVC support for this one, I know it seems like an obvious first place to look, but sometimes it isn't. I for one checked online forums first
