Oh that sucks... I had the same issue with a Sony Xplod Indash DVD Player, You have to contact the Manufacturer, They will either replace the system, or explain to you how to fix it, In my case they replaced mine.

Our Nesa DVD-1001 that is installed in our surburban has stopped working. It lights up but won't load the discs. Any suggestions?
Check the fuse for your cigarette lighter the unit neees 12v constant and it gets it from that circuit

Necvox roof mounted dvd
Some unit required the remote control to access play mode. Have you try it using the remote? If you don't have one, order one from Ebay. They go for around $5 to $10. Goodluck.
