Question about Tomtom GO 300 GPS Receiver
TomtomXL doesn't really have a hole except there is a covered hole on the bottom and if you pierce it and try to reset it, you cannot make any contact through this hole. All was working fine until I registered it and downloaded updates...guess I have to take it back to sears...thank God for sears, they always honor their stuff.

Worked a treat!!! seemed to freeze after downloading stuff from TomTom website But after your advice on the reset button which in truth I didn't know existed it fired up straight away.

Try the reset button on the hole in the bottom of the unit. I had a frozen unit after attempting to upgrade and this made it work. Use a paperclip to press into the hole, it will reset the unit.
