Two things to check , to do, to assertain the point of failure .

1. Disconnect the signal cable coming from the monitor to the computer tower. If the monitor goes out there can be a problem at the monitor.
2. Check buy attaching a different monitor.

If the different monitor also doesnot work , the problem could be your video card or motherboard.
If you posted on the forum, using a laptop , connect your monitor screen to the laptop and check by toggling the display from the laptop screen to the extrenal monitor .

Thanks

Are you using the analog input or another? If using another input instead, then press the 2 key. It will switch to another input as the source signal. If you still experience trouble, please contact ViewSonic technical support for assistance.

I had the same issue as yours. After contacting the Acer support team, I got the response as follows. I tired and it worked.

"In order to resolve this issue, you may please perform a power reset. This will remove any static electricity stored in the hardware components that may cause the issue.

- Turn the monitor off and unplug the power cord and VGA cable from the monitor.

- Hold the power button on the unit down for 30 seconds.

- Release the power button and plug only the power cord back into the unit. "

Hope it helped.

Monitor started to show an all bright white screen, could not view desktop. Now screen will not come on at all.

Sounds like a bad monitor, but just to be sure, hook a spare monitor to the computer, if okay! The Sceptre Monitor is the issue, the cause is the main board on the back of the display panel processes in coming video signals to correctly display the content, to repair would not justify the cost, cheaper to replace. Now if both screens show the same problem, it will be the video graphics card in the computer.

Have had the nx1932w for 4 years. turned on this morning and it only shows a blue screen with message stating no signal. have digital cable and all other tv's in the house work. please advise.. thank you

If the ViewSonic logo first comes on followed with no signal the monitor is okay, check the video cable connection between the monitor and the computer, if okay the video graphic's card may be the problem,or the motherboard, but this is speculation you will need somebody to check the system for exact cause.

Screen does not turn on but green light is on.

Green light indicates the monitor is getting power. Nothing coming up on the screen indicates, No Signal.

No signal from the computer. This means the computer itself isn't working.

A bad power supply in the computer can cause this. A bad power supply is the leading cause of desktop computer failure. It is replaceable, and can be done by the owner relatively easy.

You may have a computer tower that the Power light comes on, you hear fan/s spinning, (Including the Power Supply fan), and it sounds like the harddrive is running.

ALL the lights in your computer use less than 1 Watt.
EACH fan uses 2 to 3 Watts.
A harddrive sitting there spinning in an endless loop, consumes about 2 to 3 Watts.

A Processor uses 51 to 125 Watts. Depends on what Processor it is.

A weak Power Supply will have enough power for lights, fans, and that harddrive sitting there spinning.
It won't have enough power to turn on the Processor.

[No processor operating, then the harddrive sits there spinning in an endless loop, because there is no processor to find the boot sector]

For a test, connect your monitor to a know good computer. See if it works.
Now connect that other monitor to your computer.

When it's turned on, the light on my monitor doesnt show any signal of power supply

I'm assuming that you mean the green indicator light is not on. This could be caused by a host of problems. Assuming that you know the AC receptacle is live by testing with a standard light the next step would be to unplug the unit and remove the back. Check the fuse for continuity. If the fuse is good you have a problem with the power supply or a short which is keeping the power supply from powering up. The most likely culprit is the Horizontal Output Transistor. Unless you are an electronic tech and know how to check this you probably need to take the unit to a shop for further diagnostics and repair.
