PROBLEMS WITH FIERY AND DC 12

The Fiery X12E a message of CHECK POWER AND CABLE, the solution APARETE to verify cable and shutting down equipment, but when Prendes DA another message to turn off your printer and re-pledge and CONTINUE THE PROBLE... I have the same problem.....I lready fixed changing the RIP........It was a wrong configuration TCP/IP..and name............Ding..Dong.....

1,check cable betwen fiery & dc 12 machine
2, press 0 + start enter code 6789
3,go to nvm read/write
4,enter nvm 759-053 code -enter 1
5, next 759-054 code-enter 1

Double check that all connections are secure, especially the console cable. Unplug and reconnect the console cable to verify.
Make sure the console cable is not pinched or damaged in any way.

I have a docucolor 12 and x12 fiery. I am trying to calibrate from the fiery. It will printer calibration page, but it can't measure scanner. It comes up with check scanner cable connection. I have tried...


You should have a color separation guide with small gray scale from Kodak. You put the gray scale and the calibration sheet on the glass and follow the instructions from the fiery display.

There are some Mac OS drivers.I think your printer is not compatible with Mac.

I have got a Xerox Docucolor 12 printer, a Fiery X12, and a laptop running on Vista. I dont have any cables except the power cables and was looking for a list of everything I'd need to get it running...


There are 2 cables that go between the fiery and the printer, not sure where you can get these.
You will need to be running windows xp
connect to the fiery with an ethernet line
download the drivers, command workstation, and fiery remote scan from the xerox website
hopefully the fiery still has its software loaded otherwise post a request for a copy here.

WHEN I TURN ON THE FIERY IT START AND AFTER THAT IT GO TO BOOTING


First I would try to power-down the fiery and disconnect the power cable for 30 seconds or so then try to re-start. If that does not work then it sounds like you need to reload the software on the fiery, don't forget there may also be patches you need to install. This takes several hours. Xerox protects that Fiery software so you may have a hard time finding the cd's if you don't already have them. The patches are a no charge download from the Xerox website.

Yamaha 5.1 says Check SP Cable and shuts down - has been fine.


It has nothing to do with the input you choose. A speaker wire is shorted. Disconnect each one in turn and try it. The last one disconnected before it stops failing is the one.

That happeng to me before, i just low the resolution that fix the problem or flat the image before you send that help too

Docucolor 12 Not Printing with another Fiery


could be a few things, the ips pwb in the machine might be faulty, which can cause these types of issues, a driver issue woth the video boards on the fiery, or other pwbs on the machine itself. You would have to run the machine for a while on another fiery to make sure no other faults occur before condemning the machine or the fiery

pls u check the fiery and dc12 printer cable. if u have another cable pls replace and chek that also. i think the problem is in only the connectres. u remove and clean all conctres and refix. maybe the problem solved.
