Your cpu goes up cos you have programs running in the backgrund. Nothing unusal whit that
It can be nod32 working or windows running its own programs or your adaware or something else. Dont whory, its normal
You can see some of the programs running in the backgrund by pressing "run" in the start menu, then type "msconfig" and OK, check under the flap "Autostart" , you will see a list on programs who starting upp whit your windows, you can tick off those programs that you dont want to start whit windows

Good luk

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

then things work.
does it drive perfectly and all things work but above>?

head lamps stuck , is (low battery? ) or bad headlight relay, or?
newer cars have this BCM brain , puter, that can go nutz with a low battery.
id charge it 100% with battery neg lug removed.
then put it back so all things start with a fresh boot.

Computer not responding at all

If it burnt a new HDD then the problem could lie somewhere on the mobo. If it's still under warranty, i'd suggest RMA. Otherwise, you will have to take it back to the computer repair shop and listen to their suggestions.

Hey just tonight my ps3 has shut itself down 3 times during gameplay, within a few mins. im just after downloading cod. bo map pack. it happened directly after that, only happens when i enter a game, and...

Try a few other games in it - if you are still getting this problem it may be heading for the red light or the YLOD. You can fix this by stopping the heat build up getting to the GPU and the CPU.

You can either use a good repair guide for this or send it in.

Cpu usage 100%

You have too many programs queued to run at startup. Click "Start" and then "Run". Type in "MSCONFIG" and hit return.

Click the startup tab and this is a listing of all the programs that load at startup. Keep all your firewall and antivirus programs, but you can shut off just about anything else, like Java Updater, Quicktime, iTunes updater, etc. etc.

CPU Usage jumps to 100% and down to 2% when I change websites

I'd say it has NOTHING to do with how or when you access Yahoo. In fact, anytime you see an extreme jump in CPU usage like yours....you have to consider that you may very well have a TROJAN VIRUS that's hogging up all your memory (among other things viruses do). If you don't have a good anti-virus program, then get one fast. Update all virus definitions, then.......RUN a FULL scan on your pc or laptop! Watch what you find.

CPU usage is 100% !!

Hey there yasser_81,

So it was just a random spike in CPU usage? Do you remmber what you were doing at the time this occured? Were you playing any PC games, or were you just simply checking email. To be honest, this doesn't too much like a typical virus. It doesn't rule out the fact that it is.

Simple check though, if you are concerned of it being one, is use a quick check with TrendMicro.

go to, http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/

What this is, is a simple, applet based virus scanner that will check your PC of any infected files, and also attempt to remove them.

If it does in fact find some malware/greyware/worm virus, then you may safetly assume that, that's what caused the issue.

If it did not, it may otherwise have been just your computer not dealing well with opening/closing of applications so quickly.

If these steps do not help, respond back please with what you were doing at the time, and also how much memory does your laptop have.

Intel 820 dual core

this has happened to me in the past and maybe related to a windows update, go into accesories and system tools and perform a system restore to a date before any of the listed system check and see if that cures the problem. It may be worth running a scan for spyware as it may be a programme using up cpu usage trying to initiate the startup. I woukd also perform a registry clean and a temp files cleanup, This is an excellent free tool for reg and temp cleanup's http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
