The connection for my internet cable is loose.

Basically says it in the title. I have pulled it too much and it shifts around which causes me to only be able to access the internet while i holding it in.

If you are referring to the ethernet cable that goes to your modem/router you might try purchasing a new one, may not be an issues with the laptop.

How to replace a shift cable for a 2000 E series Ford van?

I would check the link on the side of the transmission, and the link at the steering column end along with the connection to the shift levers at either end. If loose, tighten things up and it might work. You will likely see where the 'slop' is in the linkage or cable that prevents the cable from pulling the transmission lever into Park. Remove the steering column cover for access to view/tighten etc the shift lever end of the cable.

Transmission slipping out of gear when turning or cornering at low speed

IF you have a cable clutch (manual) look for a reason the cable is causing the clutch to slip when the motor shifts position. IF auto and cable select check for same problem. Check for bad or loose engine mounts--all mounts.

Green line tv screen

A defective or loose contacted LVDS cable can cause this problem. Re-seat the cable said above at it both ends and check. A defective T'Con board too can cause this. The LVDS is the flat cable the connects between display panel and T'Con board. If you wish see the cable and internal connections of LCD TV, check the link given below. Check the disassembey procedure to any LCD TV. Illustrations are there. Check the cable said above, which connects panel and T"Con board. This will be common to most models. Pull up older posts there. You can get an idea.

Mercury 25hp will not shift into reverse sometimes.

If you have a control box, your shift cable end may be loose. It is swedged on to the connector and can break there, then stick, so check for a broken cable by holding the engine end when some one tries to shift it. If it pulls loose, you need to inspect it for breaks and loose anchors or connections.

If it is a manual shift, you may have a connector screw loose or missing. There is a posiability the shift cam in the lower is worn, or the center rod running inside the prop shaft is worn to the point it won't catch the clutch dogd. (shift quick/ don't rattle into gear.)

Most mercurys natural state was in forward gear, as they ate their clutch dogs you could get a little more service from them by under adjusting reverse- giving forward a little more life. It was a marginal fix and could end up with your problem.

My mercury tillr 9.8 shifts backwards with throttle controller

Hi, basically it depends on the control box you have. On some you can fit the shift cable in 2 different positions, each one alters whether the cable pushes or pulls when you shift the gear lever. On others it cant be changed(not common). Regards Phil.

Car goes backwards even tho its in drive

try moving the gear selector to d1 or d2 it may just be 1 or 2, if this puts the vehicle into drive then your shift linkage of shift cable may need adjustment it could also be loose bolt on the shift shaft under the dash. use a flash light and look under the dash to find the shift cable, its a thick black cable that runs up to the back of the steering column the cable is then clipped on to the column and the cable comes out to a eyelet and is popped onto the shift shaft the bracket on on the shift shaft is held in be two bolts if these bolts come loose they can cause shift linkage problems. if they seem loose you can repair it just by removing each bolt , one at a time and putting lock tight on them then tighten them, be careful not to over tighten though. hope this helps!!
above is a picture of a shift cable so you know what you are looking for. sorry I could not find a picture of where it connects to or of it installed. good luck!

Is there a WIFI Signal Booster out there for a Westell A90-750015-07 Router/Modem?

you don't need a signal booster. Instead what you need is a WIFI signal repeater. This device basically captures your router's signal and repeat it to other devices. Basically place is somewhere between the router and your computer.

There are many out there but here's a cheap one on ebay

1995 crown vic gear problems/gear shift wont lock

most likely the shift tube bushings are bad- you may have also lost a few screws in the shift tube or they could just be loose. you have to pull the steernig column down to inspect/repair it.

My Acclaim is rough shifting. Will a bad cable

Not very likely but your best bet would be to start with a 100k Full Transmission Service (a.k.a. Trans Filter and Machine Fluid exchange) Prices vary on your area, the national average is around $130 which is not bad at all, but in some areas it could be $200 + so be careful and shop around, but remember if you go to like a Sears Auto Center or a Walmart, you may have a loss in quality than from going to a local shop! If you need anything else let me know
