I think the problem you are experiencing has to do with the earpiece of your phone. All you need to do is to get to a phone store and replace the earpiece so that your phone can work perfectly again.
My friend had this problem too, unfortunately I went through that phone as much as I could and other then turning all sound volumes to the highest level the only other way to fix it was to send it to the company, sorryy.
1- Probably the problem is with the speaker = change the in-built speaker OR 2- The problem is with the earphone jack. = Check if a headphone sign is there on the screen. If yes... then connect & remove headphone/ear-set jack into your mobile few times till the headphone sign is gone from the mobile screen.
When you are on a call, if for some reason you need to look at txt messages you can just politely tell your caller to hold a sec, then press options and there will be a list of settings, one of to go to messages. Or another way is while you are on the call just press the "C" button inbetween the call send/call end buttons, untill you get the desktop on then go into menu/messages. carefull not to press call end though or else your partner will think that you deliberately hung up on them..... Not good that one.
I hope this helps you.
If people cant hear your voice only "sometimes" then it should be just a signal problem. If the person on the other end of the line cannpt hear you always then the problem is with your phone. So you can give your phone to the service center.
