This problem may occur due to both hardware and software issues
to rectify the cause go to bios setup pressing f2,del etc and wait for a while if ur pc restarts in bios then problem is due to hard ware and if not then then problem is releted to software.

solution releted to hardware
1>reassemble the pc and before assembling again while installing motherboard in cabinet first use spunch or thick papar to avoide the problems due to shorting

2>apply heat sink compound on the surface of micro processor and check weather the processor fan is attached to system properly.

3>after doing this things if still problem continues then purchase debugg card and install it on ur motherboards pci slot then switch on the pc u will find error code on debugg card note the error and find its meaning on user manuall.

2>solution related to software

press f8 while pc reboots select safe mode option then go to control pannel remove all newly installed software

after doing this scan ur pc for virus

Windows defender locked my computer and is asking for a password I put my password in and I'm being denied.how do I get back on my dell inspiring 1545 laptop please help me

Normally this should not be done with Windows defender but now we can Restart your PC. When you get to the sign-in screen, hold the Shift key down while you select Power Power icon > Restart. After your PC restarts to the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart. After your PC restarts, you'll see a list of options. Select 4 or F4 to start your PC in Safe Mode. Or if you'll need to use the Internet, select 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking.and choose restore point like before the day the problem started.next options to use third part tool like Tenoshare password recover and reset.

Suddenly stopped working ,won't restart my PC?

First of all disconnect all peropheral connected to your motherboard. Take out Your RAM and clean it with soft clothe. Reinsert ram and restart your PC. If you can get display at this point then shut down your PC connect all peripheral back and restart your PC.

If not you will need to replace your ram.

When i installed my olympus camera software i received the message "hardware malfunction call your hardware vendor for support" and now my pc will not boot

Hi,

Please restart your pc, and keep hitting the F8 key as soon as you restart. You should get an advanced options screen. Choose Safe Mode with Networking and wait for the files to load. After 10 minutes you should be on your desktop. If your pc successfully restarts in safe mode then uninstall the olympus software from the add/remove programs and restart your pc again. This time don't press anything and wait for the pc to start normally.

Hope that helps!

What is the solution to a restarting system? i've

Does it just keep restarting over and over again? Sounds like it's most likely the power supply dying. You can typically get a new power supply for $30 or $40.

My PC boots up and then restarts. There is no set pattern to this however. It may be on for 2 minutes or 8 hours before it does this.I've tested the power supply, it's fine. Any advice?

One of the programs set to be loaded at boot fails, you get a BSOD and the pc restarts. You need to find what the BSOD says to stop all of that.
To see the BSOD you need to stop the pc auto-restarting:   Start / Control Panel / System  /Advanced / Startup and Recovery / Settings... > under System Failure un-check "Automatically restart"
