You just go to "send message" option, then select "picture mail", then go to "recent list", click OK, then select the person you want to delete and click on "options" and click on "delete". It will then delete that person from your recent list. I just did this and it works.
Take a picture and select it to send. Under Options on the camera screen, it will populate the screen to send. if you go to your recent list (last option), it will bring up folks you've TEXT. Select the names you want to remove, then Options. You can delete the contacts here, which removes them from your recent list, but not your "hard contact" list in the main phone

You are doing right. start Messaging -> Sent Box. Select the msgs that you do not want and from Options select Delete. Thats all you have to do . Or if you dont like any of the msgs, Select all and Delete All.
To erase the recent recipients list, you must do a master reset of the phone. This will erase all texts, alarms, and any other personal settings you set on the phone, but it will erase your recent recipients. This is the ONLY reliable method I found
Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....
All finished hope this helps.

Go to the messaging menu choose send message then go to Voice SMS or Picture Mail, okay then choose Recent List there you should see the recent contact you have texted to select the ones you want to delete and press options there you can delete the selected or delete all.
I had this problem on a Fusic (LX-550). The error occurs because a
picture mail is corrupted that you're currently trying to preview
(inbox). The Fusic inbox shows 3 pic mails at a time. If one of the
three is bad, you'll get that error. If the bad pic mail is the most
recent in the inbox, then send 3 pic mails to yourself to bump the bad
one to number 4. This should allow you to get to your inbox without the
error, although you still have to avoid the bad pic mail page(move up
in the inbox to see you're oldest mail). Sending pic mails to yourself
one at a time is one method of narrowing down the bad pic mail. The
permanent fix is to install bitpim, edit->detect phone,
view->view file system, navigate to /EPM/MediaStore/MessageStore and
delete the offending pic mail. The file name with the highest number is
probably most recent. Right click on the file and perform a hex dump to
read the message time stamp. Do a backup first and view the hexdump to
verify you're deleting a pic mail file. Good luck!
First off save all your pics etc to your pc or a memory card and add all your contacts to your sim card otherwise you will find they disappear. Then type in the below, this will factory reboot all the settings in your phone and will remove the recent recipients. You will however have to set up your phone how you like it again.
