Question about Mag Innovision LT776s 17" LCD Monitor
Our MAG Innovision Monitor model 900P manufactured 11/2005, purchased 3/2006 goes black if we disconnect from the internet this started in 8/2006. In order to get the monitor to work we have to turn the computer on and off several times and press the button on the monitor and keep pressing it over and over and over for like 30 min after doing this we have gotten it to work again with a full picture. We then connect immediately to the DSL internet. We notice that if we close all internet windows, the screen will go blank in an hour or so, and could only get the screen to work if we pressed the monitor button on and off again for like another 30min. and we had to then connect to the internet to keep the screen working. So we started keeping the computer & internet on 24/7. Last night the internet window screen started clicking and pulsating, but we still had a picture so we decided to close the internet window. The screen now goes blank, and we can only get the screen back for a half a second and it keeps going blank. I have now connected our old monitor, not a flat screen and it is working fine, I have connected to the internet and then tried hooking up the MAG flat monitor again, and we now can't get the monitor to work. I saw the other positing where a person had the problem of their MAG monitor going blank and it was suggested that they check out the bulbs or one other thing. Does anyone know why the monitor would continue to work if connected to DSL internet and would go blank if we disconnect from the internet? Now we can't get it to work at all.
I had the same problem. Luckily I was still in warrenty and I sent it back to mag and they fixed it.

Usually this problem is caused by a faulty inverter circuit. transistors might been running too hot or a leaky capacitors also.not an easy task but try looking down for any defects on high voltage sections.
