Basically I have the same problem with my TRN0812T as did raiz_kkh's. Mine stopped working after 1 1/2 months. I have yet to open it up to look for a fuse. I really wouldnt want to throw this unit away, especially because it works well, when it works.

In the past I have nothing but problems with DeLonghi heaters. I replaced them with Pelonis heaters and have had no problems since. Pelonis heaters are availible from Home Depot at a very reasonable price. This is based on my experience only. Hope it helps.

Won't Turn On

My suggestion is that it is either the power control switch or failure of the heating element. Sudden failure can occur even in something brand new.

TRN0812T does not turn on anymore

Put your hear at the thermostat. Move the dial with length. Can you hear an it click on and off?
Try another outlet. Is the outlet working?
Tilt it to the floor and back (safety to shut off if tilted).
There is not much to a heater. Element on/off switches. Thermostat. Tip over safety switch.
Noting meant to be repaired. Give it a good smack before throwing it away.

It stopped working

If its like the TRN0812T, I had to reset the small circuit breaker under the control panel/cover, had to remove the 2 torx screws under the leg on the control panel side.

I inherited this heater with no manual and am in need of some instructions on how to properly use it and how to set temperature etc.

Go to Delonghi web site select country you are in. Select Customer servivices and then Down load instruction manuals. Hope this helps.

Will not turn on

Not a solution, but there seems to be a lot of this going around: ours (seldom used) just stopped working, one month past the 1-year warranty period. Arrrgghhh....
