Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I had the same problem called HP found there is a recall and sent it to them for repair at no cost.

Video card dead, sorry to say. They are part of the system board so are not replaceable. Common problem with HP Pavs. Replace the machine with either a new Toshiba or more expensive Dell range or buy a laptop 3 or4 years old as the build quality was so much better
